Dear Fellow Alum,
As mentioned in my earlier mail the Chennai Chapter of IITMAA is planning a visit to Chokhi Dhani for alumni, faculty and students along with family members during January 2016. We wished to assess the interest of alumni, faculty and students in such a trip and had developed a brief survey questionnaire to not only assess feasibility but also to decide on suitable dates and size of group to work out costs. While quite a few alumni have evinced interest we would like to have more alumni participate as we believe in the adage, "the more the merrier". We therefore request you once again to fill up the brief questionnaire if you have not done so earlier.
For those who are not aware of Chokhi Dhani, it is a Rajasthani Village fair spread over 15 acres which serves as a one stop destination for fun, food and masti and is located in Sriperumbudur which is just past Poonamalle in the Western Suburb of Chennai. Your response to the survey will determine the registration fee payable for the visit by alumni and their family members. The registration fee will be subsidized by IITMAA for IITM Students/ faculty/ Alumni and their family members and will be decided based on number of alumni interested in joining the proposed visit.
I therefore request you to kindly fill in the Google doc found on the link given above and click on the submit button at your earliest to enable us to plan accordingly.
