Seasons’ Greetings from IITMAA.
We wish to remind you that you only have twenty four hours to go for voting in the Elections to elect new Decade-wise Committee Members for the current term (2015 to 2017) of the Executive Committee of IITMAA and the same will conclude at 17.00 hrs [IST] on 7th November, 2015.
We therefore request all our alumni to participate in the polling process and cast your valuable votes to your preferred candidate from your decade. The voting turnout for these elections has been rather dismal and we find that only a small fraction of the alumni community has voted so far. We therefore wish to earnestly remind you to participate in this election.
Please note that only members belonging to the same decade for which the candidate is contesting can vote for the candidate. Votes from members belonging to other decades will be considered invalid.
The election is by electronic web based voting called e-Polling; on our website www.iitmaa.org Voting closes tomorrow at 17.00 hrs [IST]. So cast your votes IMMEDIATELY.
The results of election will be announced by the election officer at 18.00 hrs on 7th November, 2015. [IST] at an EGM to be convened at the Community Hall on IITM campus and subsequently on the website as well as the various yahoo groups and other social media forums.
