REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES TO “JOURNEYS – 2015” AND NOMINATIONS TO IITMAA AWARDS 2015

We are pleased to inform you that the Fourth Edition of our Year Book titled "Journeys - 2015" will be released during the Annual General Body Meeting to be held tentatively on 11th July this year and request all our alumni members to contribute to this Year-Book with any interesting content.

The Yearbook, “Journeys 2015” has been designed to provide a lively platform for the alumni members to express themselves freely on their emotions and thoughts; both personal and professional, as well as share their creative talent with fellow alumni. We plan to do a print run of 2,500 copies of “Journeys 2015”. Soft copies of “Journeys 2015” will be circulated to about 22,000 alumni on our database via individual emails.

We therefore request all our alumni members to contribute to this Year-Book with any interesting content both old and new for publication to make this Year-Book a memorable collector's item.  All articles, poems, short stories, anecdotes and pictures are welcome. Photographs too are welcome as long as they have a connection with IITM since we have limitations on the number of colour pages. Please note that the last date for submission of articles is 30th June 2015.

Kindly send your articles to the General Manager by mail to generalmanager@iitmaa.org or generalmanager.iitmaa@gmail.com and help us come out with an interesting Year-book for our alumni.

Moreover, IITMAA will also be awarding alumni for their achievements in three categories and we request you to also nominate any alumnus whom you think may be suitable for these awards.

The three categories in which we seek nominations are given below:

1.       "Distinguished Service to IIT Madras" Award 2015

2.       "Distinguished Service to IIT Madras Alumni Association" Award 2015

3.       “Young IIT-M Alumni Entrepreneur” Award 2015

Self nominations are also acceptable. The last date for submission of such nominations will be 6.00 p.m.(IST) on 5th July 2015. The detailed criteria and guidelines for each of these Awards along with the Application forms are given in the link below:

Copies of filled in Nomination Forms may be sent on or before 6.00 p.m. on 5th July 2015 to the General Manager by mail to generalmanager@iitmaa.org or generalmanager.iitmaa@gmail.com

Do contribute your articles and also nominate suitable candidates to help us recognize and honour outstanding alumni.
