Greetings from IITMAA.

We are pleased to inform you that the AGM of IITMAA will be held at 18:30 hrs (IST) on Saturday the 11th July 2015 at Hotel My Fortune, Chennai-86. The notice along with agenda for the same is given below.

Please note that the window for voting which was originally from 18:02 Hours (IST) on 29th June to 17:00 Hours (IST) on 8th July 2015 has now been extended to 16:00 Hours (IST) on 11th July 2015 to comply with statutory requirements and the results will be declared during this AGM.

We therefore request all our alumni who are based in Chennai or are visiting Chennai during this day to attend the AGM without fail and strengthen our Association through your participation.

ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF MEMBERS OF THE IIT MADRAS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

NOTICE

The Annual General Body Meeting of the Members of the IIT Madras Alumni Association will be held at  Hotel My Fortune, 10, Cathedral Road, Chennai – 600 086 on Saturday the 11^th of July 2015 at 18.30 Hrs. . The Agenda for the meeting will be as under. Any change in timing or venue due to any unforeseen circumstances or eventuality will be intimated to all members. However the date will remain the same

 AGENDA

1.       Welcome address by the President Mr. V.Gopinathan.

2.       Ratification of the minutes of the previous meeting

3.       Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director-IITM, Patron-IITMAA will address the audience.

4.       Presentation of Annual Report by the Secretary Mr. Dalton Eddy.

5.       Presentation of Accounts by the Treasurer Mr. Anbu Palanikumar .T

6.       Appointment of Auditor.

7.       Any other point/s from the members received with due notice in writing.

8.       Announcement of Election Results by Presiding Election Officer Prof.P.Sriram

9.       Welcome and handing over of charge to the newly elected Office Bearers  by the outgoing Office Bearers

10.   Vote of thanks.

RESOLUTIONS:

Persons desirous of bringing in resolutions to be placed during the AGM for consideration are requested to send the same in writing so as to reach the Secretary IITMAA at Room # 109, Office of Hostel Management, Hostel Zone, IIT Madras, Chennai - 600 036 or by sending an Email to alumni@iitm.ac.in on or before Friday the 2^nd of July 2015. All Members are requested to attend the AGM and make it a grand success. 

Note: To comply with statutory requirements, the voting period has been extended up to 16.00 hrs (IST) on 11^th July 2015 and the Election results will be announced during the AGM on the same day.

         

The AGM will be followed by Entertainment and Dinner.
